This is not to say you shouldn't try these bars, you may find them different!

Echo- Hard core rave & very young people - lacks atmosphere!

Bar Vegas - Never been in - always avoided the place. It has never been a good bar

Zynk - Too pricey & lacks atmosphere

Breeze - Some like this place, but its never been a hit with me

Style Bar - Small bar - use to be ok but last time I went in I thought it was rough so I have avoided it since

Blue Nightclub - Last time I was in 2 years ago + , heavy dance music, full of youngsters & uneasy atmosphere. It may of changed....let me know.

Heat Nightclub/Bar - Opened last year, was idols before & it was the best place in Whitley Bay 6/7 years ago - its the people who go that makes me dislike this bar - funny atmosphere!

Rated Bars & Clubs

The Bedroom - Good mix of music & the drinks are cheap compared to other bars, live DJ

The Fire Station - Weatherspoons - Cheap Cheap Drinks & is where most people start the night -
needs music, atmosphere sometimes like a social club!

Fitzgeralds - The place where most sensible people go, good atmosphere & popular

VI Bar - Shows sports on big screen tele's & has a pool table - ok place

Banana Jo's - OK Bar, sometimes have dancers on stage, Good music if you like 70's & 80's stuff

Havana - Split level bar with dance floor upstairs, good music some dance & chart music

Easy Steet - Great mix of music old & new, Great if you like cocktails. Very popular bar

Envy - Again good mix of music, doesn't get busy until after 10, small dance area

Hairy Lemon - Great bar if you like 70's, 80's & 90's. Always a good atmosphere. Good DJ

Pier 39 - Most entertaining bar in Whitley Bay, Steve the DJ is Top class, Great Music,
They have a podium where people get up and dance, girls beware getting up if you have a short skirt on, everything will be on show!!!

Jimmy's Bar - Mixed views on this bar, music is a mix of dance & chart. Very large bar & sometimes
lacks the same party atmosphere that many of the other bars have, but still good.

Aruba - Use to have strippers on during a Saturday, I think they still do. Drinks can be pricey
depending on when you go. Music ok.

42nd Street - Very popular bar always busy late on. Great music & DJ, tends to be 30+ age group in general. Good atmosphere.

Deep Night Club - The only nightclub I would personally go to in Whitley Bay. Good mix of music
